Iskow Elizabeth is the first person in his family to go to college, and is determined to make a better life for herself. His young life was filled with pain. His father died of a heart attack after a long struggle against diabetes. Because his father has no life insurance, her mother struggled mightily to keep things afloat financially, but they ended up losing their home. It is a poignant reminder of how difficult life can be for children if you are unable to plan their financial future.
